Even your use of the reading log should be used with caution. “I’m so excited to track how many minutes we read this summer and how many books we get to fall in love with. Do you have a goal for how many books you want to read this summer?

It’s important to teach our children the literature of the past and introduce them to the culturally relevant literature of today. If you’re a parent of school age children… you know what a reading log is. I’ve included a basic book log in black and white and colored versions. Then I have a different styled reading log for kids. A good way to help encourage that love of reading, is to use a reading log.

I would love to down load these but you don’t have june, july, August in the calender for the book logs. When you keep track of the books, you read, you will remember what you read. I can’t tell you how many times I have started to read a book only to discover I had actually read it.

Benner WOULD contract for us all of this if we wanted them to, but we contracted directly on our own for whatever reason. Not sure why we did that, but it still worked out well.

Larry Benner walked us through the entire process of selecting the model, all the choices involved in customizing, and setting the four modular units on the owner supplied basement. The modular price does NOT provide the final electrical hookups, plumbing hookups, and basement construction, nor preparation of the land. All of that is done by other contractors to specs supplied by Excel. Benner suggests names of contractors to do this, all of which are excellent.

We used all their suggestions, except the plumbing, which we chose ourselves, and in the end regretted not taking Benner's suggestion. And if we preferred, or needed a liaison with Benner's suggested contractors, they would do that as well. Benner WOULD contract for us all of this if we wanted them to, but we contracted directly on our own for whatever reason. Not sure why we did that, but it still worked out well.
